Pete's Thoughts
This was not only the 1st cd I recorded for my solo career, it also was the 1st DAM release and my percussion ensemble’s 1st cd. At the time, this was an outlet for the cream of the crop in my student roster. We played and rehearsed together as this foursome for about 3 yrs. I have very fond memories of working with Tom, Jeff and Frank. It was a great outlet to begin discovering the Reworld vibe and the deeper rhythms within. My personal favorite on this cd is Habibi in Harlem.

Neotribal – 40Fingers 1999
If America is a melting pot, then 40 Fingers' NEOTRIBAL is a rich creole blend of traditional world hand drum rhythms and street funk, making for an appetizing entree of groove.
