Pete's Thoughts
This is the percussion cd I wanted to make for some time. My goal was to make rhythm music that shakes your bottom end and makes you want to hum along. On "Warrior" I do this by using some very low sounds to replace traditional percussion. Many melodic instruments were used as well, such as the hang, marimba, tuned found sounds, voice and tunes drums. Invited guests Ron Kravitz and Jim Hamilton round out the rhythm while Beatrix Greiner, Loretta Moderne, Neal Kreider, Shawn Wanner and Joel Watson make the elemental sound chorus . This was great project to work on, very easy and full of flow. My favorites are Bored with the Struggle and Virgo Powers Activate.
